The Ghoul Garden Update is shaping up to be the biggest (and probably best) update Grow a Garden has ever dropped. I’ve managed to get my hands on a bunch of early info, so I’m going to break down everything that’s coming — from new seeds and currencies to the event cycle and shop details.
The Halloween Event: Jack-O’-Lantern Madness
The entire update is Halloween-themed this time around, and it looks insane. We’ve got:
- New spooky weather and environment effects
- A full-on Jack-O’-Lantern event that happens every 2 hours
- Three brand new shops
- Brand new seeds, pets, and craftable items
From what I’ve seen, the Jack-O’-Lantern event starts on a timer (every 2 hours). When it triggers, a big Halloween event kicks off — like glowing pumpkins, creepy music, and candy-themed loot everywhere. This is also where you’ll earn the new event currency.
New Currency: Candy Corn
As expected, we’re getting a new Candy Corn currency just for this event. You’ll earn Candy Corn by participating in the Jack-O’-Lantern events, and you’ll use it to buy seeds, craftables, and cosmetics from the new Halloween shops.

There are three new shops tied to the Halloween area:
- Spooky Seeds – where you can buy the new seeds using Candy Corn.
- Creepy Crafters – likely where you’ll craft event-related items (still unconfirmed).
- Mystery Shop (Name Unreadable) – seems to be related to cosmetics or event-exclusive items.
Other Additions
- Event-themed decorations (ghost lanterns hanging from trees, glowing pumpkins, etc.)
- Possibly an Event Forever Pack (no one really knows what this does yet!)
- New cosmetics and pets likely tied to Candy Corn currency
